Philanthropy
Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has been Phi Mu’s national philanthropic partner since 1986. “To lend to those less fortunate a helping hand.” The first line of Phi Mu’s Creed has been a call to serve others since it was written more than 100 years ago. From our earliest days of supporting a health mobile that delivered health care to women and children in rural areas to supporting toy carts for children in hospitals to our current partnership with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, Phi Mu has long been committed to lending a helping hand to those in need.
DubThon is Phi Mu Gamma Kappa's annual philanthropy event which is a Dance Marathon benefiting Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. DubThon brings together students, families, alumni, and community members to celebrate, advocate for, and support the children and families served by Duke Children's.
Throughout the year, our sisters dedicate their time to fundraising efforts that support DubThon. Every dollar raised helps provide life-changing care, innovative treatments, and essential resources for pediatric patients and their families.
In 2026, Phi Mu Gamma Kappa proudly raised $26,069.38, making a meaningful impact on the lives of children at Duke Children’s Hospital.
